05/01/2010 - Fishing Season is Here !

Well 2010 is upon us and here goes the opener..what a difference a year makes ! the water temps are a lot higher. Bluegills are hitting on crappie minnows, waxies, and leaf worms. Starting to move into the bays now, use poppers or a small bobber/hook set-up tipped with worm, waxie, or minnow. Walleye has been slow, but it is picking up.Weather trends should continue to improve water temps. Good luck ! if you get the itch to dutch the hotel stay or inlaws...contact me there are some great deals on cottages in Tomahawk, Rhinelander and Minocqua !
